Draft Cygnet Structure Plan

Huon Valley Council invites members of the Cygnet community to provide feedback on the draft Cygnet Township Structure Plan.

The Council is asking for feedback on whether the draft plan, following extensive community consultations, has developed the correct vision for Cygnet and its long term development. This includes the future of key sites such as the Old School Farm and former Council depot, the caravan park site, and the Mary Street precinct.

The final plan will be embedded in the planning scheme. Here it will provide guidance for a range of decision such as housing developments, streets, public spaces, heritage matters, services and community facilities.

Anyone with a connection to the Cygnet community can provide feedback. This can be done online by clicking here until Saturday, 7 June 2025, or at any of three community drop-in sessions at the Cygnet Town Hall on:

Friday, 29 May from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm
Tuesday, 2 June from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm
