The draft strategic planning for Huonville is open for public consultation
The Cygnet draft strategic planning should be available before the end of the month
A tCA subcommittee will be set up to liaise with council about matters relating to the Cygnet Town Hall. Anyone interested in joining , please contact tCA
The FOGO pilot project has now ended. Council isn’t ready to introduce a FOGO system in the valley yet

The draft strategic planning for Huonville will be available soon for public consultation
The Cygnet draft strategic planning will follow in about two months’ time
Cygnet Town Hall: maintenance work will be done, then the front rooms will be available for hire. All bookings will be done directly with council online
The tourist information will remain in the front of the Town Hall
The FOGO program won’t happen this year, more work needs to be done
There will be an official visit of the Governor of Tasmania to Cygnet on 1st August

The Easter ‘Le Weekend’ Festival was a success! Thanks to all who helped
A new set of street banners were made and put up for ‘Le Weekend’, thanks to Huon Valley Council for their financial support!
FOGO pilot project has restarted
A new petition will be circulated about the narrow part of Lymington road between the pedestrian bridge and the cannery. It will be sent to Eric Abetz, to be tabled at Parliament

The wombat pedestrian crossing on Mary Street should be completed before the end of March
The new playground equipment in Burton’s Reserve should be completed very soon.
